these are like most loose shadows and need a sticky base to stick too. the shimmer stays with these and tends not to travel all over the face. some are sheer and need to be packed on. these do blend out nicely and don't irritate the eyes. i haven't used these on lips, but i would double check the site before doing so. they do have a large variety of colors and finishes. the sample is a pretty good size, and if you get it on sale around xmas, they're even cheaper.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you want to start with loose shadows, i would suggest samples of these. these are cheap and you can pick from lots of colors. a base and primer works great with these.
