so besides makeup weekly and a coastal scents haul/stuff coming up this week, i'm trying to decide if i should do a 2013 most used/best things i've tried type thing? i know most of everyone does these things and i clearly don't have enough items for a giant list. maybe most used palette, most used mascara, most used face thingies? not really sure how this would be organized, i'll prob do it tomorrow. nails/hair wont be on this since i barely use hair stuff and nails would be way too hard.

sadly sp and cs xmas things wont be on this list, since i've had them for less than a month. only older cs stuff will be "judged".

walmart-4 elf concealer brushes and maybelline falsies mascara
i know maybelline is a no-no for some, but the falsies makes my lashes look like magic fantasy lashes. and the concealer brushes are good for waterline shadows.

ulta-2x nyx jumbo in milk
milk is good for all shadows as a base. and black and white are basics for most of my looks. its also bogo 50% off at ulta. this will work great with my sp and cs loose shadows :D

why you no work internet?

so you guys know i'm in love in sparkly unique colors, and thepinkladyj has caused me to eye up the fyrinnae shadows like a hawk. and the sites being skitzy and all i want is the shadow love :C and the pixey epoxy. i want to collect them like pokemon. i feel all the feels of sadness. hopefully they can get this over with so i can make magic happen on my face :D

review of mermaid and raven ht palettes

theyre not on the website, so i dont know whats going on with that.

so you get 4 shadows in each. its a nice travel size and has a nice sized mirror.

mermaid-sparkly light pink, tealish green, light purple, darker pink

raven- sparkly white, light gray, medium/dark blue, sparkly black

the light pink, green, purple are good color wise. i did use a base with these, since swatching they barely showed up. the darker pink does take some building up to show through.

the sparkly white, blue and black were good color wise, also with a base. the gray takes some work with a stiff brush.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE?

if you desperately need a travel palette, i did since i have barely any small palettes that are travel friendly, then yes. i would still need mascara, liners and brushes, but it would still be a small makeup bag. you could buy a small palette like naked basics, but thats neutrals and boringgggggggggggggg. plus the packaging is super rad. so i would recommend these if you like travel style color choices :D

i did get my first sp package, but i'm waiting to post pics until i have all the stuff. not saying i wont use it until then, since it's so tempting with all the colors :D but i did small swatches to test the colors and they seem flawless. i cant wait for my other colors to get here.

i dont have pics for these, since it's not really helpful.

i found the mirror and blending brushes from elf at walmart. they gave me a refund since they forgot it in my order. i also bought equate eye drops as a mixing medium for loose eyeshadows. i should be getting samples from cs and full jars from sp. i do have some elf makeup lock and seal, but it's a tiny bottle. i should be getting one sp package and ht one next week. that leaves cs and the other sp. hopefully i get this all before xmas gets here. :D

trying to finalize the xmas

so i want 99% of my shopping done ASAP. so bh has been kicked off the list, since i feel like i already have most of those "known" colors, and i want more unique colors, like duos and shifty colors. bh doesn't seem to have that. cs is still smokey, mirage, and warm palettes, my refill hotpots and i'm debating the elite brush set. elf polishes, 4x shadow, blending and crease brushes, compact, and transformer. since i'm getting more elf brushes, and i don't need more face brushes, i dont know if the elite is going to happen. sugarpill i placed an order for, but i'm debating on the rest of the loose eyeshadows. they're all so pretty and i want to experiment and use more loose shadows, especially as inner corner colors with gray/white/black shadows. so we've narrowed it down.

metal mania review, short

 $19.95, coastal scents
so if you look at this, you think browns? wth? i know, which is why i mostly bought it for the purples/reds. but the cs pictures lies. these aren't really browns. it's mostly golds, brown duos with gold/purples and coppers. so half is reddish/purples, but the other half is a steampunk wonderland. with so many golds/coppers you can create all the steampunk looks you want. these are all shimmer and when applied with a flat paddle brush, it has little/no fall out. most colors don't need a base.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you like steampunk/metallic looks, yeah. if you like boring brown, no. this isn't for neutral makeup. it's shimmer and can't be ignored.

black heart beauty liners

$1.50-3, hot topic, may be discontinued soon?

these work nice and you get a good sized pencil. they weren't too creamy or smeared everywhere. they also lasted long and didn't fade. the black and turq were even but the glitter purple was chunks of glitter and you could see it. i think they're being discontinued since ht was having a major clearance on them.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you can find these, yeah. it's not the silver ht pencils, but these are closer than most pencils. i would go out of my way, but if you're close to one then visit. 

fergie palette reviews, short as usual

so remember those fergie palettes i swatched forever and a half ago, yeah review time.

these have good pigment and aren't powdery. even the sheer shades showed up nice and can be packed on for more color. they also don't need a base. i was a bit disappointed with how much actually comes in the pan. most wnw pans give you a good amount of product. i also don't like the package. it's bulky and i can't open them half the time without breaking a nail. i do like the shades, maybe a few more brighter reds/greens/whites.

WOULD I RECOMMEND? yes, if you don't plan on using these daily forever unless you're traveling. the pans would run out quick and the package is hard to open. if you can depot these, do it. if not, i would keep the lids slightly open for easy access.

sleek acid palette review, short

 sleek acid palette, $10-12, ebay
so this is an awesome palette. rave makeup to no bounds. i would say though you need a base under these for them to show up super neon. without, they look bright but not super bright. i would use milk or too cool. the brush thing is there. i mostly used the pink/orange/yellow/green. the black/white/gray/blues/purple/magenta all work good too. i didn't use the olive yet. these weren't drying or powdery and blended well.

WOULD I RECOMMEND? if you want neon, go for it. just base it for super. when i ordered this, i had to ebay it, since fda in US didn't approve of this thing. i'm not sure if this changed, so check the site before ordering.

nyc high def liner review, short short

 nyc high def liner 3.99-4.99, cvs, google pic

for all my ladies and men(?) that love a dark liner, but hate scrubbing your eyes trying to get that off, i have found you a magical thing. it's black, doesn't fade, and comes off easy. and it's cheap. all pros. the con-it may need more than 1 pass to get an even line. other than that we're good. the tip doesn't bother me, not a brush, more of a marker. it doesn't have much give to it, so don't press down hard thinking it won't stab you. it will fight back.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? yup go for it. just don't wear it on a rainy day hoping it'll be your friend. not waterproof, easy to come off. you could also get this cheaper during a nyc sale at cvs.

nyc mascara review, shorttttttttt

so this is my catching up with reviews part of life happening now. so get ready for some reviews coming :D

nyc sky rise mascara

so i need any other mascara like a foot in my butt (i realize i collect makeup, no shame, i don't care, imma keep doing it), i know. but i love my wnw waterproof and want to save that for summer/rainy/snowy/craptastic weather. i also need a mascara that comes off easy for school, as i've learned. so for about $2-3, why not go for nyc? holy crap this gives length. my lashes are already long and this made them longer. and black, added bonus :D it also doesn't flake or smear after drying. it comes off in the shower with just water. it also doesn't irritate my eyeballs.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? yeah. it does it's job. and it's cheap. it was black and lengthened. the brush is standard, so no probs. if looking for a cheap and good mascara, you can pick this up if you want.

yeah i know it's 2 weeks before thanksgiving, but i gotta do this now before life and sales happen. last xmas was coastal scents land, so this year i was hoping to expand. last year sugarpill did an early sale before xmas, which didn't fit my money schedule. so hopefully i can divide and conquer this years list.

now i know you're thinking, neutral? wth happened to you? you said you hated brown and that neutrals weren't your style.......i know that. i still hate brown and believe neutrals are dull and suck the life from fun-ness. i mainly want these for the grays and skin colors. it seems i don't own many gray shadows, which is surprising. the skin colored ones are for blending. the browns might be used, sparingly, maybe if needed for certains makeup series.
