equate oil-free makeup remover

 $4 at the walmarts

i needed makeup remover to remove the color tattoos for my eyeballs, since water doesn't move those things. this works well, just a small amount on a q-tip and i can do a whole eye. granted i still have to rinse with water since some makeup will still be on there. after the rinse it's gone. you do have to shake the bottle since the remover has two liquid parts that become separated after some time. it also has a oily residue feeling, but that comes off with water. it hasn't broken me out, which is a miracle for my uber sensitive skin. i've had one bottle open for about 4-6 months now and not even half way through. and yes it even removes the waterproof mascara.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? yeah, since it works and it's cheap. but i do post a beware for eyeball safety warning. don't get this stuff in your eyes, it burns. it doesn't burn like i wanna rip my eyes out, but it does hurt, for 10 seconds. so no pouring in your eyes. or anyone elses eyes. :D

ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT TIL SHARK WEEK!!!!!! PRAISE THE SNUFFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

small elf studio brush review

since i didn't do a look today, since i was covered in modge podge and glitter, i'm going to do small reviews of things. here's some elf brushes i picked up either xmas or the summer before this one.

eyeshadow c brush-great for a one color look all over lid, picks up color good
small angled brush-great for lines/liners, i used it in my susano-o for the bone/twig crown detail
small precision brush-good for detail/inner corner work
contour-good for crease/outer corner blending and packing color
small smudge-i use this 90% of the time for my inner corner highlight, its great for getting color in that small area

i also picked up the glitter applicator and the angled liner brush, but haven't had a chance to use those. on another note to brushes, i don't have them in any special case. went to walmart, bought a plastic teal cup from the bathroom department $4, now brush storage. i'm cheap like that.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE? for $3 each, yeah. they are good quality, check. they are good at their job, check. and they're cheap, bonus check. so go elf nuts with brushes. he also approves.

***i keep forgetting this***
i'm not being paid for anything. i spend my own money on these things when i can, since i'm a broke soon to be cosmetology student (so i'll be even more broke) and am not sponsored. i'm brutally honest with makeup, since it has no feelings (except pop art, since andy warhol is and will forever be the art man). i'm not getting paid to do this, i kinda wish i was getting paid to bash/hype over some makeup with honesty. that would be kinda cool :D and to post pictures of sharks.

i may have exploded at the dollar store

so update on life situations, i redid/organized my room and repainted my shelves. they're all teals/blue-greens, but i wanted them to have silver glitter. and walmart doesn't have the glitter in a fine enough size for my liking. so the dollar store helped me. i found teals and silvers in glitter form and i also found ribbon. which is where my brain freaked out and i bought some more, cause i'm nuts. i also have some velcro so i can make necklaces and bracelets from the ribbon, so they can be taken on and off when needed. i also found some more ribbon and a glue gun in my mom's craft supplies, which is like the lost world of crafting things. so i kidnapped those and plan to modge podge my shelves with glitter (got that idea from xsparkage with her shoes) and then my old bottles can go on those. oh by the way i also collect old school bottles and unique bottles since they're pretty :D i also spotted the maybelline colored mascara display that nouveacheap blogged about and they had all the colors, but the berry seemed more red i opened the tube. the formula looked a little dry to me, so i'll be sticking with my hard candy colored mascara. i also have to figure out some life things, while waiting for shark week and face off to return to my tv. so maybe some pictures tomorrow, i might do a makeup look, and review some certain brushes i haven't reviewed yet. so here's to that. meanwhile look at this handsome fella looking all swell.

wet n wild water-proof mascara megalength

 $2-3 at walmart

i still have the old packaging but it's still the same formula i believe. this mascara is a love of mine. i bought it in jan/feb and it hasn't dried out at all. i took it to florida in may and it lasted through a water park, so much heat that i never want to go back to florida again, 2 theme parks, showers, and adventures looking for gators/lizards. only two coats and it lengthenings my already long lashes to obnoxiousness. it also makes the slightly thicker and black.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? dudeeeeeeeeeeeeee, omg yes! i would buy all the mascaras for staying power and it's cheap!!!!!! :D it's also approved for hunting for gators (not to kill to take pictures of).

persona 3-susano-o

susano-o is the most powerful of the fool arcana. colors used-brown, charcoal gray, white, gold and gray/blue.

http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Susano-o

the white under the eyes isn't supposed to be lightning, it's supposed to be his bone/stick crown.
used: white from pride palette, matte brown from vanity, 252 tray2 K2 and tray3 B1+E4,  wnw pixie pencil.
next arcana is magician.

so i realized i can't keep up with life stuff

i realized in my world that i didn't take pictures of two makeup looks i did. in my world of wrongness, i forgot. so instead i'll be trying something different. we'll be putting on our hats of imagination as i describe what went on with my eyes for these two looks. thank the flying spaghetti monster they're simple.
#1-cave moss eyes(went to lost river caverns)

used-wnw envy pencil, envy shadow, matte black shadow, elf contour shadow brush, elf $1 shadow brush, falsies mascara
step1: use a primer if needed, i didn't since i didn't plan on wearing this long in a cold wet cave. if no primer, cover entire lid with envy creme pencil. blending is optional.
step2: using elf shadow brush, cover entire lid with envy shadow. also put some in the inner corner. i thought it looked like wet cave moss, all dark green and slightly shimmery.
step3: using the elf contour shadow brush and a matte black, i found a random one, start on the outer corner building color, but blending slightly towards the middle of the eye. you can make it however dark, gotta love options.
step4: using the shadow brush and black again, sweep under the eye to meet the green.
step5: put on mascara, i usually do this first. use your judgement.
TADA-cave moss on the eyeballs :D

#2 smurf palooza(i cant even)
used: wnw indigo liner, hard candy wild child pencil, hc peacock mascara
step1: apply peacock mascara. i did about 3 coats. use judgement.
step2: apply indigo liner. this can become streaky, so two or more layers should work. i did a normal line, no wing.
step3: use wild child under eye, linking it to the liner above. no creepy space going on.
TADA SMURFS!

so thats the looks and i'll hopefully be back to doing personas and reviewing stuff. as tribute to the cave, here's the famous "ear of corn".  i like corn.

update on that haul

so an update on that haul thing- i did return the fingrs cosmic set, matte nail polish and the gray glitter one. i already own the nyc matte coat and the gray i thought has multi-colored glitter, but it was only silver. the cosmic kit only came with one sponge 1x1 inches, which i don't find worth $6.48 since the sponge can only be used once, it's not the type of sponge you can clean with acetone/polish remover and re-use. so once you do your cosmic nails once, bye sponge. i also found dupes for the colors in the kit-blue-teal or no teal, silver-silvivor/nyc tribeca silver, purple- wnw eggplant frost or any purple with a blue duo chrome, stars-star crossed lovers or star glitter, which can be poured into a clear polish. i didn't feel $6.48 for one tiny sponge and three 1/4 bottles of polishes that have dupes. i also went to rite aid to spend my $6 and bought 2 threes a party palettes since red is such a pain to find. i understand not many people wear red, but it should still be a color that shouldn't be limited edition. i have heard the bf-beauty red is veryyy good so i'll have to order that soon. i'm also busy with painting my 5 shelves which won't be totally finished until i can glitter top coat them. i think teal/blue-greens look nice with silver glitter.

thanks for all the views guys! here's a pic of a strange alien nut thing i found down the shore a few years ago :)

rite aid/walmart/walgreens haul

so i went looking for the wnw fast dry polishes. most were found at the 30% off wnw at rite aid, and $3 reward dollars when you spend $10. they had 14/18 shades. each about 1.69 and the mega shine about .60. liners about 2.60.

 turquoise, indigo, plum
 gold, red, five glitters
 teal, orange, black
 both greens and blue
 teal, yellow, pink glitter
hallucinate/hallucination, pink, duo gray

since i couldn't find the last 4, went to walmart. had to go there anyway for food.

cosmic level-may be returning this since i only comes with one sponge, which i think is ridiculous, and i may already have these colors.
 fuchsia and purple
my boyfriend matte, stop metalling in my business(looks like hard candy beetle polish), purple reign, in mint condition, set in rhine-stone

went to walgreens next to find the last two.

glitter blue and silver

i'm 90% about returning the cosmic thing, i did order some nail brush set online for about $4-5, which is 15 brushes and 5 dotting tools. so no need for $6 on the fan brush fingrs kit. i also didnt feel the need for tape. if i can return it, i'll buy the impress nails set, the glitter tye dye hippie ones. i also have $6 to spend at rite aid, so i can pick a set there too.

****side note*****
sorry for not posting daily/reviewing things. i'm re-organizing my room, and hopefully will get my shelves painted 5 shades of teal/blue-greens. that's what i've been doing for 4 days. also thanks for over 1600+ views. i didn't expect that for no where, but it does make me happy. here are awkward shark smiles for enjoyment. WHOS READY FOR SHARK WEEK AUG 4TH???????????????

sally hansen insta-gel nail kit

i cashed in on the sally hansen sale, 40% with card at rite aid, 2 coupons (buy kit get color stripes free, buy kit get $10 off). they tried giving me a hard time about having two coupons, so for future reference, print out their coupon policy and take it with you so they dont give you crap. it was $8 something after tax, but i have 5 back.

i got the wine not kit, since i'm not a red nail or light pink nail person.
also got perfect poison as my free set. they had the houndstooth, but i like this detailed-ness. i sadly can't use it right now, since i cracked and broke one nail completely down. i'll have to wait a week so they can grow. i'm going to find out if i can cut the stripes in half since i have shorter nails.

cs shimmer palette swatch

now this palette actually shows up on my whiteness :D this was also about $10.

no primer was used.

coastal scents swatchfest prt1 original

the awkward swatches of my life. i need to find my tiny tripod so it can assist me. bought this for about $10 maybe ?

i love how my paleness makes light colors not show up, good job pasteyness. no primer used.

wet n wild pop art palettes

cause i own them and they make me happy. ANDY WARHOL TO THE RESCUE. i had to take dimly lit pics since the weather is going to be crappy with no sun and i wanted to get this up ASAP. i also dont have the best lighting since it appears all my light bulbs have a yellow tint to them. i have no clue.

i also bought an extra three's a party, since matte red makes my life better. i haven't used these yet, just opened them last night. i know there's a brown here, but it'll get used maybe at some point. every other color will get used with love though. i hope everyone can find this since these are awesome colors and who doesn't love andy warhol :D

also i want to thank everyone/anyone for reading my nonsense, since i now have 1500+ views. i'm kinda curious as to who reads my crazyness. but i do thank you all for reading :D, now for a picture of a shark. he says thanks too.
