my halloween costume/event

i dressed as a zombified raccoon. i don't have any pictures since school was driving me nuts and i didn't fully complete it. i was supposed to have bruises and wounds but those didnt get done. i only did my eyes and zombie look following xsparkages vids and wore my bloody tee and raccoon ears/tail. i did have my green hair messed up but i had to pull it back to do others makeup. a sad thing also happened. my creative me #1 palette was slightly damaged when another student dropped it. the red wasnt hurt, but 5 shadows did crack. she felt so bad and offered to buy me another one since she knew i liked it a lot. i'll just refill those pots around xmas. and the school was having a "party" which was the half hour lunch break with some food and standing around. i didn't do the whole party thing and some didn't really either. and we still had to do work after.

M-gray

i used a discontinued gray but any satin dark gray will work.

TU-dark purple/black

88 K8 (corner)+ F8(lid) since i wanted contrast when getting my hair dyed.

W-robin egg blue and purple

i used the light blue and light purple from shades from the hamptons.

side notey-i have joker hair! yes green and purple since i can and the jokers awesome. i'm going to try to get pics. i used green envy and ultra violet from manic panic. personal day was pretty awesome for me since i have cool hair now. :D

pink glitter over black liner. i did semi thick pin up liner.

i am going somewhere tomorrow, but i'll prob just wear some black liner.

side notey: tues is personal day in school. i'm going to try and get my hair thinned before color. i'm thinking of joker hair. this picture is perfect. half purple/half green. i was going to do it all green, but i like weirdness and wanted 2 color hair for a while. i wear it up 99% of the time anyway. hopefully the student doing my hair won't kill me afterwards.

i felt neglectful of yellow. i've been wearing green, blue and orange a lot. and i've been using the 88 original since i felt that was neglected too.

i don't know where this one came from. i kinda threw colors on and saw prettyness.

little updatey-my order from bornpretty shipped so expect a picage and review from that. i ordered 2 nail brush sets and 2 rhinestone wheels. i also got some more rhinestones today from walmart. i couldn't find star ones though. probably ac moore has them. might go there sometime.

my 200th post! and it's art!

wow, 200 posts. i don't really know what to say about that. but here's some nail art!
ignore the chips, washing and cutting hair without sealing the edges of nail art isn't a good idea!

 so i tried the smallest/thinnest brush in my set, and it's not thin enough for my liking. hopefully born pretty will fix that. my left hand is orange and black webs. wnw 9021orange, ff atomic poppy.

my other hand was ghost tips. ya know the ghost flames on really nice painted cars, where if you look one way you see them, another way they disappear. i wanted that in this. pure ice private show and irreplaceable, fm rest in pieces. in darker light they look reg, in light they look purple tips. also yes that is a green mat. my yoga mat is go for many uses besides yoga. and it also doesnt make colors look funky.

i did order brushes from bornpretty. i also bought some rhinestones for my eyes. i dont like rhinestone nail art, but i do like the look of a small gem near the eyes. thepinkladyj could be my fashion icon. she bought gems at a craft store and reuses those until they get funky. she also turned me on to the revlon base coat, which helps keep polish from chipping at 3 days.

i had extra time today to without my hair. so i went a little color.

i'll probably take pics of my kit tomorrow since i need to clean/disinfect it. i won't take pics of the mannequins since they look ultra creepy. i might put some nail pics up too. my feet hurt so i plan on not doing too much.

a tragic thing happened and my soul cries

so remember when i did that update nail polish thing? and remember how i got all those cute colors for my b-day? well i put them on a shelf. a crappy shelf. and it fell really early in the morning and woke me dead outta my sleep. all but 3 survived. galaxy (WHICH I'M SUPER FUMED ABOUT), cool gray (ALSO FUMED ABOUT), and some old sally hansen color didn't make it. why couldn't my old i don't care about colors broke and not my newish ones? and then my hands and one of my black skirts were covered. i have to find a way to get the polish out. i also had to take off my mani of vamp teeth and glow graveyard :C. not very happy about that. todays gone to crap and it's not even 7am. next time i go to walmart though i'll pick up the gray. thank god i have a dupe for galaxy and no other polishes were harmed. stupid shelf. i made sure that thing was sturdy too. that's enough of my first world problems.

i did this look previously, under rainbow eyes. i did it as a cooler toned rainbow. not much else changed.

T-cheshire cat

used-purple and pink shadow, i used coastal scents use what you want, purple and pink liner

after mascara and primer, put purple all over lid. take pink and put it in the crease. take a pink liner and line 3 small lines under eye. then take purple and do the same, so it looks like a row of a checker board. pink shadow over pink, purple over purple. i connected my outer purples (outer and under eye). cleanup with makeup remover.

W-lazy liner

used- blue and green

i'm not even explaining this except blue on top, bottom green. i gave 0 flying spaghetti monsters about makeup today since i'm tired. 0 spaghetti monsters.

T-black shadow

it's that simple. i did blend around the edges so i looked not dead? nothing special

F-orange/brown

i used the fergie desert festival palette. i used the intense orange and the blackened brown. orange on lid and brown on outer corner/middle lid. i used my reg mascara and primer. i used the elf concealer since my face is freaking out from life. it smells like fruity pebbles.

S- i didn't go to school today for errands so it was pretty simple. winged liner.

i am that lazy. just mascara and liner. my life skills are lacking.

hopefully i'll do some more interesting ones now that i'm not taking much time to do my hair. :D

nail update

i went to my local spirit halloween store to find tombstone polishes and manic panic hair dye. i did find the polishes in the makeup aisle. it was woven in with the spec fx stuff. they were 2.99-3.99 each. i also found the silver holo glitter.

 once upon a time (already have 1), rest in pieces, nail in the coffin (my love of black glitter is strong)

i bought this for making nail polish. and i did. and it's epic and i love it and it's my soul mate now.

 now if ya'll didn't know, i am attached to my warpaint beauty polishes. they are epicness. and it's discontinued so i'm finding dupes. i found 3/5 so we're getting somewhere. the glitz holo glitter is a perfect dupe for white noise. i'm so glad since holo everything needs to be everywhere.

 galaxy and pure ice deja vu. 

 funky fingers highlighter and a mile away.
i haven't found dupes for dirty pink and slime. FF wild child's too bright, spoileds distant memory is too blue, spoileds green to be heard is too cool.

and i got a nifty creepy pen. and $2 donation to children for a cool purple bracelet. i did find my hair at hot topic so i'll be doing my hair later with month since i'm going to be 22! :D

how to make glitter polish, no 5 min long video for this.

1-take a clear polish, i dont care, pick a brand.
2- use a folded piece of paper to pour glitter into bottle. i did this multiple times for opaque glitter. do it how you wish. i would fold the paper taco style for easier pouring. i don't know why it would take a 5 min video to explain that (i looked for how much clear polish was needed to not over flow bottle). i just dont know guys.
