empties 3

there's no order to this, i lost track of things a while ago. i also had to upgrade to the bigger sephora bag to hold everything for this month.

urban decay primer potion sample
i like this primer, have back ups.
well color charm 3RV color
i did my hair again. i don't know if i'm going to buy this color again, since i do want to change it.
2 elf makeup remover wipes
i use these to take makeup off at night and do like these. i bought the equate ones to try since they were cheaper.
tattoo gel stuff
this worked good to keep my tattoo from peeling/itching.
dr teals lavender bath salt/bath oil/body wash/foaming bath
i poured all of it into the tub and it smelled nice. it did have lots of bubbles. i have another scent, so i can't wait to try that.
urban decay original sample
i already liked this and wanted to use it up. 4-5 uses.
ud eden sample
i didn't like this, it was too yellow and it was too thick. i wouldn't buy it.
ud sin sample
i didn't like it since it was too thick and hard to blend out. won't be buying this.
ud anti-aging sample
i do like this. it works the same as the original formula. might buy in the future.
elf light beige concealer
this does work, but i have to find a lighter color. i have a few more of these and will use those up.
tarte lights camera lashes sample
i like this mascara. it works just as good as my maybelline falsies and wet n wild megalength.
hask coconut monoi oil hair mask
i liked this since it did make my hair soft. it didn't really help with frizz, but it was nice. i used it once a week. in this tiny packet i got 3 uses out of it. the packet isn't resealable so i opened it and emptied it into a small container.
travel dark kiss perfume
i love this scent and am pissed bath and body discontinued it. it smells amazing-raspberries. i have a full size and will hopefully find more to hoard.
travel size sea island cotton
it smells like fresh laundry, which isn't my favorite smell, but it doesn't smell bad.
travel size japanese cherry blossom
i like this scent too, and have a full size.
travel size carried away
it doesn't smell like raspberries like dark kiss or black raspberry vanilla. it does smell nice, might repurchase in the future.
nyx green primer
i liked this primer. it didn't really tone down my redness, but my makeup lasted. i have the purple one to try next.
jack black moisturizer
i didn't know it had 2 uses in this tiny thing so when i first applied it, it took forever to sink in. it felt nice and didn't affect my makeup. the second time i tried it, it also took a while to sink in. it's a pricey moisturizer, so i wouldn't purchase this. it also has a man after shave smell to it, probably a man product.
aveeno daily moisturizer
i depotted this a while ago since the pump didn't work. i've had this forever and used it on my face mostly, and sometimes on my legs/arms. i have a new one waiting for me.
hask macadamia hair mask
this was nice and made my hair softer. it smelled like white chocolate. i would get this again.

suave moroccan oil conditioner review

suave moroccan oil conditioner $5, walmart

this is a good conditioner for dry hair. mine is color treated and the ends are dry from multiple lightening sessions. this makes them soft and less prone to tangles. i use this after my shampoo and let it sit for 5-10 mins. i rinse it out 90% of the way. i air dry my hair and it stays soft. it doesn't help with major frizz, but some it can help with. it hasn't really kept my color in longer (the black cherry has faded to brown now and the dark blue is a teal/swamp green).

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you have dry hair, yeah. if you're solely buying it for color protection, i would try another. it doesn't really protect it, but it does make it soft and less tangly. this will last me a while since i use it once a week, and it's a cheap conditioner. if you have very over processed, you might want something more conditioning and hydrating.

covergirl ready set gorgeous foundation review

covergirl ready set foundation 105, $7, ulta

this is a good foundation i use when my skin is freaking out. it covers up acne and dark spots well. i like how i don't have to set it but can. it lasts all day and doesn't wear down. i use a brush and sponge to blend it out. it's a good shade match for me and doesn't cake up. my concealer, blush and contour blend into it nicely too. it says oil free, which is good since i haven't seen any breakouts from it.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you have normal/oily skin, yeah. if you have dry patches, no. i tried using this in the winter when my skin was drier and it clung to the dry parts and it looks gross. this is also a heavier coverage foundation, so i wouldn't use too much the first time. for extra coverage, i would layer it a bit at a time.

collective makeup haul

this is all the crap i bought in the past 1-2 months. this won't include clothes and my past sephora purchase. going by store, not all bought in 1 trip.

~walmart~
36x24 magnetic board $19.99
i bought this to hang my family pics next to my desk. sorry it's sideways, i had to rotate the camera to fit it.
equate ultra protection 50 sunscreen $7
i need this to avoid melting in the sun.
neutrogena ultra sheer 100+ sunscreen $10
hopefully will prevent me from melting. i have used it a few times and it does great so far.
yes to blueberries face oil $11
i bought this to help with skin issues like dryness, it might also help prevent wrinkles. i have tried it a couple times and it feels nice after taking makeup off.
equate makeup remover wipes $6
i bought these to try since they are cheaper than the elf ones.
pure ice purple haze and rosy glow $2/each (no pics, since i lost in my polish stash -__-)
i had to get purple haze since it reminds me on the sabrepulse song. i tried one over black and it looks nice.
~kmart~
la colors BBL398 pink blush $2
i wanted a cool toned blush and this looked perfect. i wore it once and it looked nice.
jordana 37 blushing rose $2
i bought this since it looked like blushing bride from tarte, which i can't seem to figure out*. i haven't worn it yet, but i did swatch it and it looks nice.

~ulta~

nyx wicked lippies in envy, sinful, cold hearted $
i wanted a blue lipstick similar to technopagan. i think if i mix one of these blues with immortal i should get that color. i also wanted the gray, since grays aren't available everywhere.
loreal true match powder N1 $10
biohazardousbeauty did this, and i do need a powder that doesn't cake up. i used this the other day and it seems to do fine. it matches me great and lasted.
loreal true match concealer N fair/light $9
i haven't been getting a ton of sleep, which means dark circles my elf concealer can't cover. i'm hoping this will. i tried the shade on my hand and it's light enough. i had to exchange it in the store because the other one came smushed.
nyx high voltage lipstick playdate $6
i wanted a pastel purple and swatched it in store. i heard the nyx macaron lippies were dry. this one feels creamy and nice.
nyx taupe blush $6
i heard this is a good pale girl contour. i've been using a dark blush to contour, which works sometimes. i tried it and i do like it.
earth therapeutics recover-e eye pads $9
i want to use these on my spa days to relax more.
dr teals eucalyptus foaming bath $6
i like relaxing in baths and bubbles, and it's cheap and smells nice.
dr teals eucalyptus bath salt $5
i want to use this for relaxing my feet after work days. i tried it today and it did seem to soft them and make them ache less.
jack black moisturizer samples
these came with my ulta order. i tried one, which i didn't know had 2 uses in each pouch.

*i swatched blushing bride from tarte at sephora-which wasn't pigmented and patchy. i did it again in JCP sephora which seemed to work better. i found one at ulta, which didn't look like the other 2 colors. this was wayyy lighter and had sparkle. i'm not sure what's going on with that color.

current favs 8

not many but some

BEAUTY FAVS
aveeno eczema cream
i haven't been wearing a ton of face makeup this month, mostly because i'm lazy. this helps moisturize my skin on those no face makeup days.
physicians formula boosting liner
i fell back in love with this for some fun liner designs. i like how thin it is.

NON BEAUTY FAVS
black baggy sweat pants
these are wonderful, since i haven't had any sweat pants or loose pants in a few years. these are great all the time, if only i could wear them to work.

FAILS
getting hit on at work
not too much to say:if you stall the first sale just to talk to me, no. then you go buy other things and try to ask me out for coffee 5 more times, no. i wasn't even wearing that much makeup.
the sun
i was driving and under some shade from my car, but the sun was starting to burn me after only 5 mins of driving. not a slight burn, the horrible i need to move out of the way now burn. not liking the sun except for warmth.

hopefully there will be more favs next month.
