i had some things that i wanted to try and picked up 2 things. i wanted to try the hard candy single and loving it multi shadows, since they look like the stila countless color pigments. i looked at the swatches and haven't decided if i want to try them yet.

 i heard a lot of good things about these brushes and i did use them today and washed them and only 1 hair came out of 1 of the brushes. next week a review should be up. these are buy one get one 50% off at ulta.

 urban decay ammo palette

i did use this today and have been eyeing urban decay for quite some time. if this palette works out, i might get the smoked palette, which has those pretty dark colors. i'm also testing the primer potion in this palette, since i'm a fan of too faced shadow insurance. the review on this whole kit should be up next week.

makeup storage reveal/update

so i'm not sure if i've ever done a makeup storage post, but i did organize my makeup in 1 location, as opposed to 4-5 mini boxes. this doesn't include nail polish and brushes, since they wouldn't fit.

 this is what my storage is, a plastic container of drawers. it's a hand me down, but still pretty good.

this works great, but i may have to do a second color job since it's not dark enough.

i didn't grab the other colors of lip tints, since i'm not a fan of strong oranges or pinks. i like how all these colors are muted, so i don't look 'over the top' with strong eye shadows and strong lips. i do like the main focus to be my eyes. i also tend to snack and drink throughout the day, so lip colors would fade quickly on me.

makeup ban update

the first thing i used was the falsies mascara.

next i tried using the elf clarifying powder in place of the tone correcting one. this doesnt work as a face powder, so i tried using it as a blending shade. it broke me out in my eyebrows. what sorcery is this where my eyebrows get effected? so i have to stop using this and might throw out.

next was the wnw mascara.

next the elf tone correcting powder(hit pan more). this doesnt work bad at all. might repurchase after my physicians formula one runs out.

next physicians formula bb powder(hit pan). this tends to not set as well as the tone correcting powder. it looks cakey if too much is applied or not set.

this was a pretty good makeup ban for 2 months. i still have my shadows-which i know will take forever to use up, the liners-which are not used often enough, phys form bb cream-which will be used as a concealer if i can.

half used up products-

nyx clear primer-half way used, green and purple on stand by

elf makeup mist-half way used, will get some when empty

elf/phys form concealers-half used, switching between both

too faced shadow insurance-half used, this has been used for about 2 years and still going strong, backup waiting it

my eye somehow has been scratched and was killing me. it could be the glitter, but i completely removed it before going to sleep. glitter works in crazy ways.

my eye feels soooooooooooooo much better and hopefully can wear makeup by friday or next week.
