milk and honey, $2, ulta
sugar, $25, sephora
we're going to have an honest moment here. i've tried both of these numerous times. and they're 99% the same thing. the only difference (besides taste/smell) is that the fresh one is a tiny bit more slicker. the fresh one smells/taste like citrus-ish, mixed with something else. the nivea one smells/taste somewhat like honey. the nivea one i use in the morning, fresh is used at night. they both lasted 4-5 hours and kept my lips moisturized.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? for value, i would say nivea, since they're 99% the same. if you want it to be more slick, just add another coat of the nivea one. there's no reason to spend $25 on a product that a $2 one can do just the same. unless you really like citrus, the nivea one works just the same.

hard candy glossaholics review
glossaholic glosses, $4-5, walmart
these are good glosses for cheap. they last about 3-4 hours, with drinking. these are a heavier gloss, which might be why they last longer. they don't feel gritty since the glitter is so fine. the size of these things are huge, double a normal gloss. the applicator is also bigger, so in 2 swipes my lips are coated. they don't feel sticky and smell like vanilla or fruity. the coffee one doesn't smell too good to me, but it goes away after a few minutes.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE? if you want a gloss with an interesting color/glitter, yeah. these are good for the price and do stick around for a while. they feel nice and don't smell too bad. some might not like how big the applicator is, which if not careful can get messy. they also don't sting, since they aren't plumping.

sephora kabuki brush review
kabuki brush, $18, sephora
i bought this brush for travel for my face powder. it does a good job applying powder evenly. i recently started applying blush with it, which it does nicely. it doesnt load on product, but it isnt too sheer either. it does take some effort to wash and dry, but thats mainly due to the container. it's also easy to open and close and the cap closes securely.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you need a kabuki brush fast, yeah. i know other websites sell kabukis, but i hate waiting for shipping. this does its job and is a decent price.
urban decay electric review
electric palette, $49, ulta
revolt-pure silver
gonzo-neon blue
slowburn-orange-red
savage-neon pink
fringe-green/blue, may look slightly shimmery
chaos-darker neon blue
jilted-pinky purple
urban-neon purple
freak-bright green
thrash-yellow/green
im glad urban decay came out with a matte (the shimmer doesn't come through strong with these) neon palette. i know some company's have neons, but those can sometimes be patchy. sugarpill is an exception and this palette is a good addition to those. i know most don't wear neons, so this might scare some off. these are nicely pigmented and for brighter color, you can use a base. without the base, you get a more subtle color. the silver worked fine, you just need to pack in on there. my only complaint is it's mostly cool colors, which is 99% of all palettes. the packaging is also cool and travel friendly.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you like using color, this is a good palette. it's mostly cool colors, and lasts a good time with primer. the double ended brush is also useful. if you barely use color, this might not be for you.

lorac 3D lustre review
lorac 3D lustres, $28, ulta.com
i already had the diamond one before i bought these, so i know how to use them. it's micro glitter liquid. it comes out from a dropper, which is easy to put on a brush or your finger. i use these as an inner corner highlight or over top shadow for sparkle. these can be messy if too much is used. the liquid dries quickly, so you don't have to wait for it to set. i like the colors in the set, even though the gold is already apart of the permanent line.
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you like sparkle, yeah. these can be messy, so use a little at a time. these are usually $16 a piece, but you get 4 for $28. a little goes a long way, i use 2 drops at a time. my diamond is still half full and i've used it around 30 times. i would keep the lid tightly closed on these, since the liquid does dry fast. it's a nice deal for someone looking for a glitter fix.

ulta haul
tarte cheek to chic blush set
i bought this since i wanted different colored blushes to try. the benefit one didn't look like one i would use often. the darker ones look good for darkening other colors. theyre all matte, so i wont look like a disco fairy.
naked 3
i hate neutrals, but these are pink. i wouldn't use this palette by itself all the time, i bought it for use with my neons. i heard it's good for hazel/green eyes, but my range from blue-green-gray so we'll see how that works. it doesnt have brown, so thats a major plus. i did use the brush, which works fine. havent cracked open the primer samples yet.
i had to return this and get another one, since the one i bought was smushed into the cap before. i have all of them, and can't wait to wear/review them.
maybelline falsies
this and my wnw megalength mascara are staples, but i'm working on mascara samples first. i finished my other one, so i had to get a backup.
real techniques brushes
i bought the setting brush for under eye and concealer spots. the expert brush for face powder, and the core set for a blush brush/face powder brush. they look wet since i just washed them. i tried them today and they work fine.
physicians formula eye booster liner
i bought this to do a tiny wing in the inner corner, since my other liners are too thick for that. i tried this today also and had no idea it was that fine of a line, which is what i was hoping for.
too faced sweetheart blushes
i was on the fence about these since i don't like much shimmer on me, except for my eyes. i did test a swatch in store, which i blended out so the shimmer wasn't so intense. i'll have to try these out to get a real feel for them. i did wear candy glow today, which didnt leave shimmer on my face.
ck mascara
this was free for my b-day. this beats sephora's gift by a long shot, and they also sent a $10 off coupon. this is being held onto until i get through my samples.
this is a big haul, since i had $10 coupon, points, and gift cards. i'm hoping to review these soon, so many reviews stacking up.
