hair ribbons prt1

 so i went to ac moore looking for ribbon for my hair, since 90% of the time it's in some sort of pigtails things. i also wanted specif colors since i'm a super huge sailor moon fan and wanted to do some makeup looks foreach sailor scout, and also other fantasy/cartoon/character looks. i made a list of the colors of each scout (mainly two/three colors). my main goal was to get about 4-5-6 feet of each color, since i use two strands for my hair, one for each, and one for a ribbon necklace to match my hair(this started in high school with my teal ribbon necklace). when i went there, the spools of ribbon, which were like 9 yards were .50¢ each. but i had many colors to get(these colors are my own opinion, i went by pictures):

the colors i had were black, maroon, purple, my teal necklace, green, light blue, dark blue, and silver. so i had SO many colors to get. even with the ribbon on sale, it was still going to be more then i wanted, and i didn't need 9 yards. by the ribbon sale, there was a value pack, $9.99 for 18 colors, 4 feet of each. this had most of the colors i needed, but i still needed the .50¢ colors. i think it was about $15-18 for my ribbon lot. i still need to heat seal them, so the ends don't get funky. i'll be posting them by color family since thats how i organized them.

the ribbons below i've have forever and are longer than the rest, since these would be used for special occasions. the silver is from xmas, the green/black is from a prom long ago that i still use. these i can actually tie in a bow on my pigtails if i feel extra fancy/sassy.

mini cvs nyc haul

since i had a $15 cvs voucher i wanted to try some nyc makeup to compare it to wet n wild for cheapness and color, and i had no nyc makeup except nail polish. i got the high def liquid liner pen(no pic since i stashed it somewhere hidden), sky rise mascara, skyline blue nail polish, and two individualeyes palettes, smokey charcoals (i like silvers and grays A LOT) and bryant park since i have blue eyes(which sometimes works since my eyes change between blue-green-gray, i dont know whats going on) and those purples look amazing. the illuminator confused me so i'm just going to let it sit there until i figure out what to do with it. the primer i might use as concealer or something since i already have two faced shadow insurance, and that works perfect.

pretty hair things prt7, disappointment

7 orchids for $7-8, but some came crooked(flowers glued in awkward ways), so i'll be fixing these, instead of sending them back. there was a pink, purple spotted, purple, green, yellow, pink/white, and white. i already have a glue gun, it was just disappointing that they were glued so wrong.

these are rose/lilies with netting and feathers, 9 for 6.46. these are about the same size as the other flowers with feathers. these have no glitter and may need adjusting when unpacking.

these are hair flowers, set of 10 for 4.95 (1.25 shipping). these have glitter, but not as bad as the lilies  these have feathers, which might freak people out.

these are lilies, each 1.25 from thailand (it takes a month to get to Pa, USA). these are about 3-4 inches. the glitter on this thing is obnoxious, and just gets EVERYWHERE.

these are foam hibiscus, 10 for (5.99, 2.99 shipping) selected randomly. these are about 2-3 inches, and are also good for pigtails and near the ear.
