current favs mar 2016

BEAUTY
lovecraft lipstick-i love the color and it doesn't dry out my lips if i wear a balm under it. the packaging is also cute and it smells like vanilla.

strawberry/banana chapstick-i love using this because it smells and tastes nice. it's not a thick one, so it doesn't sheer out lipsticks.

wednesday eyeshadow-it's a matte gray but i use it to blend out black or wear it in my crease on less makeup days.

NON BEAUTY

the fellowship of the ring-i finished it around the end of last month/beginning this month. if you don't like talking books, this wouldn't be for you. i liked it though.

colby jack cheese-i have no idea but i've been having a cheese craving as of late.

tiny stuffed peeps-they are on my bag with my other critters and i love them. i tried getting them last year but they sold out and someone found them for me at my work. i tied a ribbon around them to secure them.

makeup haul 2016

things were on sale, i wanted to try stuff, that's how these things happen.........
i can only control myself to a certain point :D there's some order to this, it did happen over a few weeks, so some products that are missing are most likely in the favorites

makeup at my work was clearance and i have a discount, and i have rewards there
 physicians formula eyeliner trio
~there are long wearing and last almost my whole day~

organic cc mascara
~i have no idea how a mascara can be cc, but it looks interesting to try~

sharpener
~incase mine gets cruddy ~

 saraghina, crest cabernet, d-vinely chilled
~i like vampy colors for cold months and it is a nice formula~

covergirl emerald blaze and teal on fire
~i don't need them but they're pretty, emerald is on my toes~

wet n wild glowstick and walk of fame
~they're pretty~

chapstick and wet n wild spring 2016 polishes
~the chapstick is nice and i like the flavors, i have the lavender on my nails and it's holding up~

ulta *i had a bonus for 5x points on purchases for being a member for 2 years*

 garnier micellar water
~needed a back up since i'm half way through my other one~

physicians formula booster liner
~i didn't wear heavy liner for 2 weeks but i'm back into it~

nyx lingerie corset
~i like this color and how cool tone it is. i want to try embellishment (was out of stock) and bedtime flirt~

nyx concealer porcelain
~my elf one didn't brighten like this one, i knew it was too dark. the nyx one is nice, i'm getting used to using a thicker concealer~

revlon colorstay foundation ivory
~i love this foundation because it matches me exactly and i like how it's a pump and it has spf in it~

 shea moisture mask
~i want to use this because i want to lighten my hair and my hair is dry right now because of winter~

tony moly hamster eye patches
~this is more for how this looks exactly like hamtaro~

garnier leave on peel
~my skin texture hasn't been the greatest~

freeman mint and lemon, apple cider vinegar 4in1 clay
~the mint/lemon should help my pores and the clay should help with oil and breakouts~

 concrete minerals

black magic collection
~they are witch themed, had to have~

wednesday
~i wanted a matte gray for my less makeup days, most companies have a shimmer gray. plus it's like wednesday is channeling some addams family vibes to me~

 walmart

hard candy green primer
~this is my go to primer for covering my redness and making my makeup last longer~

velvet plum perfume
~i don't have a plum one but it smells nice~

sephora

mufe blue primer
~i like how this makes me look paler. i still have to use another primer to help my makeup stay and cover my redness, but this i put over that one~

kat von d lovecraft and piaf
~i did spend $40 on lipstick and regret nothing. i love both colors and they stay on almost all day~

mask maven march 2016

so another month of masks. i haven't used mine that often because work/school, but it's spring break so skin care i can get down with. i don't remember any of the spoilers, so i have no idea what's in it. this months theme is good energy garden.

pure source lotus mask-brighten and moisture
i like the package on this and i haven't used a lotus mask before

dermal charcoal collagen mask-deep clean, firm and nourish
i do like charcoal mask for cleaning my pores

botanic farm ginseng mask-nutrition, reduce wrinkles
i thought this was a banana before i read ginseng. i think i've used a ginseng mask and liked it

botanic farm tea tree mask-calm and clean
i like these for my monthly skin freak outs. tea tree does make your skin feel clean

prelab skin anti-wrinkle mask-regenerates
is there a sheet mask in here or a clay mask? i think it's a sheet mask. i like the packaging, but it's confusing

prelab skin aqua mask-hydrates
again still confused. the package looks like a drip bag, which is nifty

mizon vital up nourishing mask-moisturize, anti-aging
i like avocado masks because the do add moisture to my skin

my beauty diary rose mask-soothe and hydrate
i don't like rose smell, but it's a hydrate mask so i'll use it. i like the print

face shop cherry cherry lip patch-nourish and hydrate
is this cranberry or cherry? i like both, so i'll find out soon enough. i did a lip patch a few weeks ago and liked it.

i dd liek this months bag and i have some new masks to try. spring break can be used for detoxing and cleaning my skin.

Mini rant

So as known, I do live a "dark" lifestyle and it's not a secret. Im not ashamed or scared to answer questions. But damn it, just because of that I am human too. I deserve respect like everyone else.

1. I do wear black 90% of the time at work and have been there over a year. Yet I still somehow get questions of why do you wear black? Or haha you have to wear color for work. Really?

2. Just because I have piercings doesn't mean I have everything pierced. People go oh I see you have your ears done. Do you have anything else pierced? and glance down. No you dirty pervert, I dont have my lady parts pierced. Even if I did, why the hell do.you want to know.

3. Im getting stared at by security at my job and being watched. I have coworkers that tell me oh he likes you. No no. Its only when I have full makeup on and my creepy style that he watches from a far. If I go in with no makeup, its a pleasant day. My drag makeup and bone jewelry should have nothing to do with you giving me an attitude pal.

4. Im tired of getting hit on by creepy old men. Dont flirt with me or call me baby. Dont stare at my fishnets and touch them. Thats harassment asscake.

Those are for now. And because im thinking of pizza. Most of my coworkers embrace my weird and dont get weird about it. Im mostly loved at my work and people like that im nice and sweet. But damn you creepers.

current favs feb 2016

i'm posting this early because work and school are my life. i also have a cold and want more sleep. that's beside the point.

BEAUTY
revlon colorstay foundation ivory- i have the normal/dry skin version and it's pretty nice. it matches my skintone without having me adjust it. it can wear throughout the day if i'm at school/work for 10+ hours, but all of mine do that. the only problem is that it stains brushes and doesn't want to come out fully. washing my brushes was a pain >.<

NON BEAUTY
the hobbit-i finished the book on my kindle and i enjoyed it. at some point i'll see the movies. more on the bottom page, since not everyone may have read it.

|FAIL|irish mud mask-i tried one on my day off for my 'spa day' and i left it on my face for 10 mins. i used my eco sponge to get it off like my other clay/mud masks. there was black holes in my pores! when i do a mask, nothing has been trapped in my pores before. it gave my face a darker tint, which is not what i'm looking for (i just want to be a pale vampire creature). it was gross.

this is short because i've been wearing simple makeup and not doing much but school/work. i am getting to experiment more in time.

~SPOILERS~
my only problem with the book is that gandalf was missing for 80%. what was he doing? you don't find out until the fellowship of the ring (currently reading), but still. YOU CAN'T LEAVE 12 DWARVES AND A HOBBIT ALONE TO FIGHT A DAMN DRAGON!!!!

mask maven feb 2016

it's late at night after work and i wasn't home all day, so surprise in the mail. i didn't get a tracking so i had no idea it was coming. i'm doing another face mask while typing, which seems redundant :/.

this months theme is about fabulous february, which is skin love. it has different types of masks.

dewytree honey moist black mask-it's anti-microbial, soothing, helps elasticity and moisturizes. the packaging looks cool and i need some honey ones since my face is having a moment.

leaders ac dressing mask-soothes, helps inflammation/irritation and acne and pore appearance. this one sounds good too for my face and i've heard good things about leaders.

mizon enjoy vital-up calming mask-has propolis, hyaluronic acid, and trehalose to sooth and calm. propolis is like bee cement or caulk and trehalose is a sugar.

hanaka snail and black pearl mask-moisture and elasticity, 100% decomposable wood pulp. i haven't done a wood pulp mask, which sounds cool with the black pearl and snail in it.

hanaka cactus and hyaluronic acid mask-hydrate deeply for radiance and glow. my skin does need some glow and i like cacti.

nature republic royal jelly mask-hydrate, improve skin absorption, and moisturizes. i like the packaging on this one.

esfolio green tea mask-green ta detoxes, quince and catechin firm skin. my skin does need some detox after wearing makeup almost everyday.

somoon ampoule juice bear mask-honey, royal jelly extract, raspberry extract and blueberry help elasticity, help roughness and hydrate. royal jelly is baby bee food. this sounds exciting.

yeon live pack-replenish and energy. it says to massage on skin and leave for 15-20 mins, then rinse with cold water. i have no idea what's in this but this should be interesting to try out.

i do like the masks this month and the black masks are making my darkling side so happy. there's a lot of honey masks, which i do need because of my skin. there are also some ones i haven't seen or heard of before, like cactus and black pearl.

first fortune cookie soap spring box 2016

this is my first unboxing from fcs. i have bought products from them before but never had a box. i'm very happy with this theme, which is let it grow (the lorax).

in the green confetti, they have white flowers, which is cute for spring. they also have seeds in them, so you can plant these.

guardian of the forest-soap, it smells like light florals, not so much of the lemon.

this thing?-ocd sanitizer, green, it smells like a light floral creamsicle.

disco tree-whipped cream, i just smell berries, no lily or sandalwood.

unless-pedi-bomb, it smells like a hyacinth incense, not much oakmoss, dirt or algae.

oh hair-shampoo bar, it smells like peach gum, not much of grapefruit or thyme.

one c-cuticle oil, it smells like vanilla icing, nothing of patchouli. (how cute is the tiny vial?)

paradise found-petal perfume, it smells like rose, nothing of mangoes, amber, or strawberries.

in organic-shower steamer, i used this tonight and it didn't smell at all. it did have a light lemon scent, but it was too faint for the shower.

i'm happy with my first box and am excited to try out the scents. most of these products have a lot of good reviews. i might possibly get the summer box.
