current/monthly favorites?

i'm not sure how often this will be posted. i'm not sure if i have enough to do them monthly or what. but we're trying different things here.

BEAUTY
|occ lip tars| i've worn 3 in the past week, strumpet, super nsfw, and electric grandma. i like how the stay on for a while and some leave a nice stain after. i like that.
|nivea milk + honey lip balm| i bought this a while back and i've used it fairly often. it has a honey scent, which is nice. it leaves lips feeling slick and doesn't wear off easy.
|maybelline bb cream| it makes my skin all one tone, with no redness. it also lasts awhile. it's doing nicely.


NOT BEAUTY
|redwood pomegranate wax melt| it smells not to fruity, but like a comfort fall scent. it's nice for this time when it's in between summer/fall.
|ranch dressing/chicken salads| i've been eating more salad, mainly since i have a big bag and don't want to waste it. i like my salads with ranch and have started adding chicken. it's tasty that way.
|peds and my $9 flats from walmart| i'm not sure what brand they are but they are super comfy and peds are great socks for everything. i like them a lot.
|45 until halloween| not much else to say there.
|new fall makeup coming out| such as ud vice 3, wnw fantasy makers, and the wnw fall collection. i've been eyeing a few things from wnw and that vice 3 looks very tempting. this weekend may be the time to pick up a few new things.

we'll see if i can get more favorites for next month and maybe do it again sometime. :D

lip product addict tag

so i figured something new needed to be added, while i wait to try/review products. i like youtube tags since they're helpful. mine will just be written. i'm going to try to keep these short :D


1. Favorite balm/treatment?
this is tricky-does it include scrubs? well whatever. favorite day balm would be between nivea milk and honey and tokyomilk dark salted caramel, since they hydrate nicely. night balm would be fresh sugar since it's a little more hydrating and a little more slicker. 
2. Best eye-catching red?
that's a good question since i don't like reds too much. it would have to be most likely occ's strumpet, it's kind of close to red.
3. Best luxury & best drugstore?
i don't own much luxury products, so i'll go buy price point. drugstore would be the revlon lip pencils, since they have matte, lacquer, regular and many colors. luxury would be the fresh sugar treatments, since those are $22 a piece.
4. Best MAC lipstick?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. i don't use mac, next.
5. The most disappointing?
mountain dew chapsticks, they don't taste very much like mountain dew. 6. Liner - yes or no?
if need be, then yes. i don't, unless i'm wearing it as an actual color.
7. Best gloss?
i'm not a fan of gloss, but the nyx chunky dunks are slick like a gloss and stay shiny.
8. Something extra!
now we can talk scrubs. i like the fresh lip scrub for a more gritty scrub at night and it's a bit more messy. i also like the elf lip scrub for day, since it's not as messy and can be quick.

i'll try to find more tags along the makeup topic lines for use in the future. :D

maybelline pure bb cream review

maybelline pure bb cream, light $9, ulta

this is a light-medium coverage cream. it seems thick when first applied, but gets thinner when worked. i do use a sponge/brush to get it smoother and spread it more evenly. it matches my skin and doesn't change color through the day. it doesn't cover zits completely, but does get rid of some redness i have. i still use concealer under the eyes. it doesn't move around during the day, but can transfer on clothes after being freshly applied.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you don't mind not hiding zits fully, then yes. it works to hide redness and evens tone. it also doesn't move around during the day.  it's cheaper than high end bb creams. i would test the shades at a store, since it is limited.

elf, walmart and ulta haul

since elf was having a 50% off sale, i decided to stock up on a few things since my walmart doesn't carry half of the elf line. i also went to ulta to spend a coupon i had.

tone correcting concealer -50¢ per

this is my fav concealer and my walmart doesn't carry it anymore.
tone correcting powder(cool)-$1.50 per

this is my fav powder and it makes my skin look way better.
essential individual lashes -50¢ per

i want to try lashes just on the outer upper/lower lash line, just for some extra flare and whatnot.
mineral pearls -$4

this looks like a looser version of the tone correcting powder.
makeup removers clothes -$1.50 per

i would like to use these on heavier makeup days and for swatch fests.
mist and set -$1.50 per

my fav setting spray and it doesn't make my liners run.

it looks like a pretty topcoat/it looks like magic and somewhat halloween in a bottle.

walmart-elf tinted moisturizer $3, wnw fergie bb cream $5

these i tested to make sure they fit my skin tone. i like how they both have spf and are cheaper than the maybelline one. i'll be using them after getting through most of my 1st one.

ulta-real techniques sponge and blush brush $9, with a $6 off coupon

i wanted another powder brush, so that when my cs one is drying i have a back up. i also wanted to try the sponge for my bb cream, so it can blend better into my skin and smooth edges.

i'll be reviewing these soon. i'm currently working through 39 nyx shadows which i was given. i'll update those within a few days. i'm also working through new products and samples.

i think i posted one of these a few months ago, but it needed to be updated. i originally wanted the rainbow cart like thepinkladyj has, since it has small and large drawers. but i don't have $70-100 or the room. i also like biohazardousbeautys container idea, but i don't have a vanity or room for that. so i have 2 office storage drawers, one from my mom, the other from walmart.

the bigger tower is actually two 4 drawer sets rearranged and put together. they were under $40 for 2. i'm not going to list everything in each drawer, but brands will be given.
