upcoming stuff maybe?

so besides makeup weekly and a coastal scents haul/stuff coming up this week, i'm trying to decide if i should do a 2013 most used/best things i've tried type thing? i know most of everyone does these things and i clearly don't have enough items for a giant list. maybe most used palette, most used mascara, most used face thingies? not really sure how this would be organized, i'll prob do it tomorrow. nails/hair wont be on this since i barely use hair stuff and nails would be way too hard.

sadly sp and cs xmas things wont be on this list, since i've had them for less than a month. only older cs stuff will be "judged".

the smallest haul ever i think

walmart-4 elf concealer brushes and maybelline falsies mascara
i know maybelline is a no-no for some, but the falsies makes my lashes look like magic fantasy lashes. and the concealer brushes are good for waterline shadows.

ulta-2x nyx jumbo in milk
milk is good for all shadows as a base. and black and white are basics for most of my looks. its also bogo 50% off at ulta. this will work great with my sp and cs loose shadows :D

why you no work internet?

so you guys know i'm in love in sparkly unique colors, and thepinkladyj has caused me to eye up the fyrinnae shadows like a hawk. and the sites being skitzy and all i want is the shadow love :C and the pixey epoxy. i want to collect them like pokemon. i feel all the feels of sadness. hopefully they can get this over with so i can make magic happen on my face :D

review of mermaid and raven ht palettes

theyre not on the website, so i dont know whats going on with that.

so you get 4 shadows in each. its a nice travel size and has a nice sized mirror.

mermaid-sparkly light pink, tealish green, light purple, darker pink

raven- sparkly white, light gray, medium/dark blue, sparkly black

the light pink, green, purple are good color wise. i did use a base with these, since swatching they barely showed up. the darker pink does take some building up to show through.

the sparkly white, blue and black were good color wise, also with a base. the gray takes some work with a stiff brush.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE?

if you desperately need a travel palette, i did since i have barely any small palettes that are travel friendly, then yes. i would still need mascara, liners and brushes, but it would still be a small makeup bag. you could buy a small palette like naked basics, but thats neutrals and boringgggggggggggggg. plus the packaging is super rad. so i would recommend these if you like travel style color choices :D
