i had to use the coupon and they had halloween scents.  and walmart made a whole aisle for wax tarts. don't judge me.

walmart and yankee haul

 so i always wanted a candle/scent collection but i cant light candles for the life of me and having pets doesn't mix too well with fire. so i looked for an electric wax warmer, which i wanted to be halloween themed. i found the scentsy creepy crawler one, but it was out of stock everywhere. so i looked on walmart and they didn't have anything, so i looked on yankee candle. i saw the "everyday kitty" one, which matched some of my other cat stuff. it was sort of expensive, being $24, then $32 with tax + shipping. but it goes with my other cats, so they fit. meet the cats :)

 the ghost cat is lydia, from beetlejuice. i'm surprised she's that big, i thought she would be a lot smaller. she's a chubby warmer.

now i did go to walmart for wax melts, since they are cheap and you can check and see if you like the scents. i like sugary, sweet, fruity, man cologne, relaxing, and some holiday scents. i found a box of bakery scents which is convenient, since i hadn't figured out where/how to store these. 5 don't fit in the box, so they stay on the side. 5 came with the box, the rest were individual. all descriptions are without burning them. the "real" smell with be up with a future review.

 i saw 2 cupcakes and got excited. i LOVE cupcake smells. so i'm treasuring these.

 coffee cake swirl-it doesn't smell too much like coffee, which is good (i hate coffee). it smells like vanilla and cinnamon.

 warm apple pie-which does in fact smell of pie. i don't like apple pie, but it smells nice.

vanilla bean-smells wonderful, like all good things vanilla.

 dreamsicle-smells so goodddddddddd. oranges and cream for the win!

 fresh lilac-smells good. i like lilac/lavender scents for relaxing.

 for yo-this one smells creamy, but i'm not sure how it'll burn or it'll be weak or not.

sweet pea-i do enjoy sweet pea, it smells feminine.

 vanilla caramel spice-it smells like warm vanilla, not strong though.

red wood pomegranate-this smells fruity, i had no idea what a pomegranate smelled like.

 vanilla-i do love vanilla.

 lilac breeze, violet petals, periwinkle pansy-these are nice relaxing flowers. they smells not as strong when broken apart.

 cherry parfait-this does smell of cherry, not medicine cherry. i don't know if i'm going to burn both or separate them.

 illusion-besides awesome design, it smells like a nice man cologne. it's a nice musk scent.

red velvet cupcake-it does smell of cake. i'm fond of cake.

should be ordering some yankee tarts since they sent me a coupon. :D

i'm in some sort of time warp where i thought i had posted swatches from my haul, but i somehow didn't. strange.

 this is how i keep my lip products from being all over my bag, the kat von d bag i got with my get the look kit. it doesn't seem big enough for powder and a brush, so it holds lip stuff.

this is the bag my nyx stuff came in, which is so damn cute and i plan on using it  when i travel.

side note-i will have another nyx, ulta and amazon haul, since i need lydia lip tar in my life and i bought a few skin care items on ulta.com. i found some very cool makeup bags online, which i don't seem to have any of, which is not good for traveling. and i may include a walmart/yankee haul since i did buy a scent item. that's all in the future.
