i wanted to try these for just a light wash off color that won't fade weird or is high maintenance. i so far have honey, cherish, charm, complex, elusive, demure and coquette. these are nice and do feel slick (not the matte ones). i haven't noticed the mint taste, i must be immune to that, but they do have a mint smell. i do like how they aren't super opaque, but not super sheer. they last about 4-5 hours, with eating and drinking. i like how i can quickly use these without a mirror and not worry about smearing it all over my face. the product last a good while, since i have used both honey and charm over 5+ times in a day, and they don't even look dented. i want to find darling and precious, which seems to be discontinued. i do prefer the laquer and regular formulas over the matte. the matte isn't bad, not drying all all.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THESE? if you want a wash of semi-opaque color, yeah. these are easy to carry, use, and are not expensive. they have a lot more colors for more daring people. it would also be good for beginners since it's easy to apply. if you don't like minty smells or tastes, i would think about it.

elf makeup remover wipes review, short

makeup remover wipes, $3, elf site

these are white wipes that smells of baby lotion. they do a great job of removing makeup. they take off shadow, primer, powder, bb cream and mascara. for $3, these are great for getting off makeup fast. you don't have to wet these and scrub them (suds) to get them to work. i can use 1 for my whole face and eyes. it doesn't bother my eye area. it does leave a slick feeling, but it goes away after you rinse it off.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you want cheap makeup wipes that work, yeah. if you're worried about the slick feeling, it rinses off pretty easy. it doesn't have a harsh smell or bother my eyes. these would be good for travel and taking swatches off.

nyx eye shadow looks

these i acquired from someone i know, cleaning out their makeup. i did depot these, since they packaging was a pain to open and they were bulky. i did a crude depotting, putting them in empty cd cases. these were a challenge to depot, since they were soft and the plastic doesn't like to melt. i cracked 80% of them and repressed them, but they still look jacked up. so i wont be taking pics of them. i want to use these at least once, since i have other neglected shadows to love also. a review should be up on these at some point.

i like when palettes have highlight colors, so you don't have to reach for another palette/color. i do like the shades in here, minus the brown. i would have liked a burgundy, since brown's not my thing. i do like the jewel tones, which you can use with mushroom, asphalt, and blackout. the eyeliner pencil did stay on my waterline but i could feel it there, unlike my rimmel liners. i didn't bother me too much. these are all pigmented and do blend nice. i didn't use the book much for looks.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS? if you can wear darker colors, yeah. i know the smokey eye is a big thing, which can happen with this palette. i also like the packaging, since it won't open accidently. the mini primer is also good if you haven't tried it yet.

sephora kat von d liquid lipsticks and update

i wanted to check these out since i do enjoy kat von d products and i wanted to try a baby pink color. i have muted and nude pinks, nothing baby or milky pink. i did swatch these in store, to see the true color.

armageddon is a brighter pink than in the tube, which i quickly found out was too bright for me(more bubblegum pink than i wanted). but with a lip balm on top to calm the brightness down, it looks fine. lolita is a nice darker nude-ish color. i had to do that same thing with the lip balm.

UPDATE: i did trade these in at sephora. i tried to love the formula but it's too dry even with balm. they also didn't last long on me, which isn't normal for lip products. i won't be reviewing them, since i had them for a short time and i don't like them.
